No internet after change in moden


Hi everybody. I would like to ask for some help. I've been using a DIR-810L router together with a modem supplied by the service providor for years. Yesterday, the service providor replaced my modem with an Arris D3.0 modem. The D-Link router is still on and connected but no wi-fi internet is provide. smartphone finds the router, connects but cannot access the internet (no internet). I tried resetting the router from the back, switchin it ooff and on, replacing cables but in vain. Can someone please provide a soultion for me. Regards to all.


* What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
* Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
* What region are you located?
* Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

* What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
* What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
A power cycle of the ISP modem and router should have all that was needed. Power OFF the modem for 30 seconds then back on. While the modem is rebooting, keep the router OFF. Once the modem is online, power ON the router...

Problem appears to be solved.

in the LAN settings of the modem I selected 'bridged' and now the router is working again
