I presume a work around or new process in being reviewed and investigated. You might contact D-Link support on the phone and refer them to this thread and the new FAQ and see if there is any additional information.

Where did you see the new FAQ information?

Where did you see the new FAQ information?

On the mydlink.com website when you try to open a video from the SD there's a link underneath saying:" * Video recorded on my SD card doesn’t play when I click on the file." If you click on it you get directed to the FAQ page.
