Not able to view cameras via DNR-202L on computer(s)
« on: February 18, 2016, 06:18:02 AM »

Using the Mydlink cloud services I can view all 4 cameras remotely at any time.   Also, using the mydlink View-NVR application on my android phone I am able to view all 4 cameras.

However, I've tried on 3 different machines.  One Laptop running windows 10 using ie11.  One Surface Tablet with windows 10 using ie11 and a desktop computer, windows 7, ie11.    The laptop and the desktop both want to but will not install an Active X control.  -- not realy an issue because I want to use the tablet.

The tablet brings up the DNR web pages fine, however the 4 camera grids are solid black.   Any suggestions on what settings I may have wrong on my tablet or the other machines?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DNR? Look at the sticker behind or under the device.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DNRs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What camera models do you have?

What OS platform are you using for windows? x32 or x64 or mixed?
Be sure Java is installed.
Input mydlink.com and camera IP addresses into Java security exceptions list as well to ALLOW.
