Title: Google Chrome v77 Browser and unable to log into a devices web page...
Post by: FurryNutz on September 12, 2019, 12:21:59 PM
I've been seeing some posts in other Mfrs forums about Google Chrome's resent update of there browser to v77 and it breaking access to router's log in web pages.  :-\

If users are seeing this with any D-Link products, please let us know here.

Anyone using Chrome that experiences this issue, please try IE11, Edge, Firefox or Opera browsers for the devices log in web page access.

Hopefully Google will let Mfrs know whats going on with there browser.  ::)

First I apologize, I am new because I just ran into this problem today, I am using a Dlink DIR-880L and now I can no longer access my router log in page from my laptop using any browser. I have tried chrome, edge, mozilla, and opera. I am however still able to access from my phone luckily using the chrome app, which is odd. If anyone would care to slap me upside the head with the obvious fix, I would greatly appreciate it. Last I recal that I was able to log in with any browswer was maybe a couple of weeks ago at most, normally I use chrome. I have not made any changes, or updates since I was last able to log in.  Thanks.

Have you cleared all browser caches before entering the routers web page.
Try a factory reset on the router and setup from scratch.
