Title: inconsistency with DHP-700AV
Post by: jgw0 on May 10, 2019, 08:57:40 AM

I have noticed that these units are not consistent.  When they run they run well and then they start going down hill.  I have spoken to support and they have suggestions.  The one that worked the best was to swap the units locations.  I have also noticed that these things get almost hot (which is bothersome).  The one that works the very best is to turn on the wifi (mine doesn't work as well as a pair of these - when they are working), and disconnect the units for a few hours.  Then, when hooked back up they start up and work well until they don't.

As far as I can tell this is the best solution for running these things.  The way these things heat up just may point to their problems.  I have also noticed that when plugging them in it takes them a bit of time to establish a connection.

I am posting this to see if anybody else has dealt with this inconsistency with these or have thoughts.
