I brought mine up last night...I did see one dup Linux icons however I don't know where thats coming from since I don't have any Linux devices, that I now of.  ??? I didn't see any other dup icons.

I did notice that SB didn't complete its' test run however that maybe needing more time is all.

Did anyone notice the big ? mark in the upper right hand corner?  ;D

Overall, set up was pretty smooth and with out any issues. I played Adv Warfare for a bit last night. Didn't notice any lag however I did see one game where there seem to be lag right before the point where I would die. Over all gaming was good. I'm still trying to get used to the new game. Not sure if I'll keep it.  :-\

The 5Ghz radio seem a bit low however may have been router placement and location is all.

I try and do more testing and go thru the bug list to see whats been fixed and mark them off. This weekend is going to be busy working on the house.  ::)

Bug? My Wii U for some reason isn't dropping from the sb list when not in use.
It's not using standby or anything and used to drop as per normal.
I don't think it's a big deal just something to report  :)
I did try a reset and still the same results.
Other than that still looking good.

Maybe a new behavior..not sure as I don't have a Wii U. Does it happen with any other devices if you don't use for a while?

Has anyone seen SB and ABE not complete the speed test run?

Has anyone seen a 413 - Request Entity Too Large message after logging in to the router say after over night the next day and you go to make a change and hit Save Settings and this message appears?

Any one seeing the following numerous repeating log entries:
Nov 8 10:34:51
(NOTICE): pe_loop: Got delete message
Nov 8 10:34:51
(NOTICE): pe_loop: add_msg returned 0.

If you could turn ON SB and ABE and see if it completes it's test run, would be good to know.

I shut off SB and those repeating log entries go away...

The 413 error message seems to appear if you leave the router alone for a while and come back and make a change anywhere and then it appears. A reboot clears the error.

My findings as of so far.

Has anyone seen SB and ABE not complete the speed test run?

I used the Test Button and it read my speeds the first time. Stopped using ABE forever ago.

Has anyone seen a 413 - Request Entity Too Large message after logging in to the router say after over night the next day and you go to make a change and hit Save Settings and this message appears?

Haven't had that issue! Are you using FF or IE? I'm using FF witch has had updates as of late.

Any one seeing the following numerous repeating log entries:

Yes and I also saw USER root pid 1091 cmd /etc/sysconfig/sbmonitor.sh
andNOTICE): pe_loop: Got delete messaNov 9 20:36:50 DGL-5500A1 local2.info BWCD[1340]: (NOTICE): pe_loop: add_msg returned 0.
However Turning OFF System Activity in the logs actually stops it this time. If i remember correctly you asked D-link about this in b05 and they said it's normal activity.

My Wii U is still stuck dunno if it's a new activity or just and odd issue with Wii U's ?

I can report that Xbox One feels a bit better than before and that Speed Tests are correct on SB and 10% low on a Speed Test sight.
Witch is normal.
So far so good I like the FW  ;D

Furry can you Please just ask if D-link has had time yet to work on UPNP and dual consoles nat issues? Don't wanna test if they haven't yet  :D

Can you try doing a factory reset and walk thru the set up wizard and test there. I'm seeing it fail there.

I'm using Max OSX and Safari for mine.

If you disable System Activity, I wonder if it still happens even though it's not being displayed...

Have you tried gaming with multiple consoles yet?

During the wizard my test went through. After everything is set up using wizard I go back through and personalize settings.

Probably but seems to run a touch better. I'd get info from d-link I think it's SB looking for apps bud I'm not sure.

I don't have my 360 ATM. Honestly I don't wanna cause myself a headache when I get it back.
If d-link hasn't had time to mess with it It will be a pain. It wold be cool of you to just ask k d-link if they've had time yet before I give it a go.

I'll ask as see if we can get some info. if you can give it a try in mean time. Puleeeez.  ::)

For the most part, D-Link is seeing the same issues as we are. Something seems to be causing the router logs and they feel its something in the SB engine not communicating with the SB servers correctly. Also seeing this 413 error as well for some of us.

I recommend if users aren't having any luck with this build, go back to v1.12 B03. Users can disable SB entirely on any version.

The security issues posted on D-Links security site were fixed in this build of FW I was told.

Has anyone seen SB and ABE not complete the speed test run?

Yes mine has been testing since I loaded the new firmware two days ago. I have both ABE and SB on. It report close to what my Up/Down speeds should be. I am also not seeing any decreased bandwidth from the "testing" so I don't think it is constantly testing.

Has anyone seen a 413 - Request Entity Too Large message after logging in to the router say after over night the next day and you go to make a change and hit Save Settings and this message appears?

I haven't had this error. I did a complete factor reset and started from scratch this morning and had no problems.

Yes. My log has 9 pages of these messages.

So far its been stable.

Thank you wxstorm for your feed back.

D-Link is aware of the repeated log entries and the test not completing. On mine the setup wizard test also fails.

The 413 error seems to be happening on certain router HW and doesn't seem to happen on all of them.  :-\

If yours is running well then let it run for now. Let us know if you notice anything else.  ;)

Installed new beta firmware and was unable to save certain settings within the GUI, without getting "413 - Request Entity Too Large " message.  Reset router via both GUI and hardware reset button on bottom of device to no avail. The settings in question were "DHCP Reservation" and "Port Fowarding".  Re-applied beta 1.12B05 firmware and all is well.

How was the FW updated?

Did you perform a factory reset, load FW using IE or FF, factory reset once more then set up from scratch? Or did you use a different method?

I'll pass this along to D-Link.

A quick update  :)
So I've been up sense release without issues.
Xbox One is running better online a friend got me AW as an early b-day gift and I host almost every game.
Also noticed that SB is seeing cod and tracking properly now.
The only issue I've had is the logs. I turned off all log tracking and I dunno if it's just me but it feels a bit better.
So far Im pretty happy!

Quick tip to all users!
After owning the router for over a year I noticed it doesn't like to be fooled with to much.
I know the stats are there for us to look at but it seems that the more you login just to look around, the more problems you have.
So I think loging in and looking around messes with router performance.

A normal router you just set up & that's it. The 5500 you set up then go back to look at stats or SB.

Considering you've never let anyone help you nor have you given any details of your system or given any feedback to questions we've asked you, we can only presume that the issues you are seeing are nothing related to FW at this point.

The beta builds are user discretion. Users should review the Beta policy information before upgrading or using these builds...The best beta build is v1.12 B03 and works well for me and others.

Unless you are not going to let us help you out or give us feedback to the questions we've asked, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email. Maybe D-Link will swap this router for a different mode. Or find an alternative to your router.

Good Luck.

so another broken beta release that still fails to deliver the functionality provided at launch and not even a changelog? great... then again my router couldn't possibly perform worse than how it has been performing for the last 2 weeks so I guess I have nothing to lose, I know I already wasted my money on this after seeing the terrible job D-Link does at supporting their product and looking professional on their own forums...

EDIT: Here I thought it could not possibly be worse than a barebones, barely working router... but now devices can't even connect at all despite having the correct password... never again will I make the mistake of buying D-Link...

Vault, thanks for the feed back and info on your experiences. I didn't turn off logged on mine and I may. I'm currently testing a different router however will come back to the 5550 shortly and turn off the logs. The only issues i've notice is the logs and this 413 error which seems to be seen only with different users. I've reloaded FW again and this message keeps appearing on mine at seen at D-Link so they do see it. They are also aware of the logs too. I'll keep pressing for more builds. The DGL line isn't dead and will be going forward.  ;)

Sounds like SB is getting better with detecting gaming and games. Good sign.

Sounds like FW wasn't applied correctly and not configured correctly.

I recommend that you contact D-Link and either get it RMAd or ask for a swap for something different.

Set up Wi-Fi 802.11g and n only, with a  WPA2-personal AES password, no devices can connect at all, not even if I copy-paste the password it just fails.

Despite no devices being able to connect at all, the priorities tab in the router is already ****ed up, with 3 nameless devices already there, one of them showing the router's IP address...

This router is just a piece of garbage.

If thats what you think you need to do. Still you haven't proved anything nor have you answered any questions here nor have you attempted to let us help you. I hope that if you do submit to the BBB, they will come here and see that the burden of proof lies with you and you haven't proven anything. They can see what you've posted about.

Again, if you let us help you or contact D-Link support, maybe something can be done for you. Even let someone check out your router to see if there is a actual problem or not. I'd be willing to review your settings with you remotely or even have you ship the router to me for examination. I've done this for other users before and all was fixed and worked out.

I presume it's a mis-configuration at this time, Yet, you fail to prove anything with your limited or next to nothing information and feedback, or let us help you. Kind of hard to find the real problem when your not receptive to help and support.

Good luck.

Sounds more like D-Link and this router are just a piece of garbage. 1 YEAR after release and we STILL don't have a single firmware that has at least half of the promised capabilities of the router and D-Link keeps released half-assed beta firmware so they can protect themselves from customers complaining about it and saying that it's up to the customer to use the beta firmware without guarantee of functionality.

I guess it's time to report this to the Better Business Bureau. I would highly recommend other users to do the same.

Router Placement
Forum User - "Well I feel really dumb. After moving the router away from other electronic devices my speeds are back to normal. Just a heads up for anyone experiencing slow speeds, you might want to move it away from other electronics and see if that helps."
3-6' feet minimum safe distance between devices.
Placement on main level floor and central in the building and WELL ventilated is preferred. Not in basements or closets as building materials, or near by electronics devices could interfere or hinder good signal propagation.
http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-basics/31083-smallnetbuilders-wireless-faq-the-essentials

Further testing shows that, as long as the default settings for the wireless are left intact devices can connect just fine, the moment the SSID or Password are changed, the router stops letting any devices connect wirelessly.

5GHz band is now also unusable, no devices can see or connect to it regardless of the settings for it.

Just use the 5500 as an Access Point.  That's about all it's good for (aside from placing it in the box, tossing it in a closet, and letting it collect dust)!  It's difficult to place any trust in D-Link fixing this router to perform as a solid gaming router!  It's a "fix" the broken, but not without "breaking" the working type cycle!  This router had potential, but now is an afterthought with D-Link IMO.

I've switched router manufacturers for my main router.  I've had less headaches and a MUCH better online gaming experience.  The 5500, IMO, is not top dog for online gaming.  Don't get me wrong, I still own the 5500 (used as an AP), as well as another D-Link router (used as a wireless bridge).  Both serve very well in that aspect.

To be honest, the 5500 was a much better router one year ago with the pre-installed firmware (ver. 1.0).  I'd suggest moving to a different router  manufacturer for online gaming (and overall better home networking), but keep the 5500 as an AP.  You'll be glad you did.  I am!

Hope this helps.

I mean no disrespect ValutOverseer (when I say this), but why buy a router / own a router that is intended to provide "stats" if you can't analyze them?  Router performance should NEVER be compromised when "loging" in, OR logging in to monitor home networking / online gaming experience.  I wanted this router to "BE THE ROUTER OF ALL ROUTERS", but it hasn't lived up to it's hype.  I still use it as an AP though!   ;D  It works very well for that.  The last three firmwares have all "fixed" issues, but not without "breaking" something else.

I've had the luxury of trying another router manufacturer for home networking / gaming.  The 5500 doesn't come close in comparison.  I do miss some of the GUI features of the 5500, but it's easily overlooked with overall performance!

I've not abandoned D-Link.  Heck, I use the 5500 as an AP and another D-Link router as a wireless bridge.  Both work exceptionally well!!   ;D

The 5500 has had some bumps in the road however again like DarkPGR, you have not proved or provided any details of what your router is doing, nor provided any details on your networking environment nor let us attempt to help you out to see if this maybe a configuration issue, networking environment or an actual HW issue. We can only presume that with your limited information you've provided that the router may not be setup correctly nor FW applied correctly. As mentioned to DarkPGR, we are here to help everyone out and we need more details from each so we can better get an idea of each and everyones environments to better help and provide suggestions and feedback and maybe help get users routers working better and to identify if it's a configuration issue or an actual HW issue. Should it be a HW issue then this would expedite direction for users to contact D-Link support sooner then later and get an RMA.

Since you've moved on to a different primary router, we can only presume that there is a mis-configuration of your 5500 and will either have to wait for the next FW release or maybe you should contact D-Link official support on the phone and get some help there since you don't seem to want to let us help you here.

Good Luck.

You can "presume" whatever you want.  I guess some drink the "Kool-Aid" and some are never "wrong" while everyone else is an id!ot because "they don't know what they're doing" when it comes to configuring the 5500.  Oh well, my loss I guess.  It works great as an AP!   ;D

I can certainly provide my router setup and router configuration, along with my ISP (down / up) and modem.  But why?  I've tried just about everything there is to try per suggestions from forum users and other sites.  Until you've tried other routers for home networking / online gaming, please don't assume that those who have tried other routers are home networking illiterate, and there isn't any other alternative to home networking / online gaming but the 5500.  I can understand why your opinion is what it is regarding the 5500 and D-Link products.  I respect that.   8)

I'll continue to use the 5500 as an AP, and the other D-Link router as a wireless bridge.  D-Link does make great products.  I'll continue to use their products.  The 5500 fell short of what it was "presumed".  Sometimes products fall short of expectations.  The 5500 feel short of my expectation, and except for a few forum users, it looks like it fell short for several 5500 owners according to reviews from several online sites, comments here, as well as comments on other web site forums.

I agree with everyones expectations and concerns about this router. However when users just come to the forums to just complain about problems with the router and don't offer up any complete details or let us help them, it's hard to believe users in what they say. The forum is for help, information and support, not for ranting. Yes, the 5500 has has some issues and D-Link is aware of them and continues to work on them. However, we are here to figure out what IS the real problem and if it is FW or HW related. It's hard to troubleshoot and help users when they don't give complete information, answer questions for give feedback to questions presented so that we can better help them figure out what is the real problem maybe. There are many factors in setting up Routers and WiFi devices. So for those of use who are trying to help those users out who don't accept our help, Sorry, we take information you give here in the forums with a grain of salt.

Yes, D-Link has some good stuff and some not so good stuff. We still have hopes for continued work with D-Link to help them get the 5500 up to user expectations and earn and keep the trust of D-Links customers for any future needs. This is not the end of the DGL line. There will be continued work.

Good Luck.

Since you've moved on to a different primary router, we can only presume that there is a mis-configuration of your 5500 and will either have to wait for the next FW release or maybe you should contact D-Link official support on the phone and get some help there since you don't seem to want to let us help you here.

In all honesty it's likely you either have a defective router or it's user error. Thousands of customers use this router including myself and have no issues.

I would highly recommend you factory reset the router and have a knowledgeable person set it up for you.

It seems as though people don't understand how StreamBoost works. StreamBoost is done by Qualcomm Atheros not D-link.
StreamBoost is a new type of QOS it's cloud based. It user proof. Now that's not saying it's perfect but it works well.

If you just Google Search Streamboost you can find all the info on how it works. It's only giving an app what it needs to have that way if two of the same apps are running, say Netflix for example the higher one on your list will have the best bw.

When people see the 10% drop in speed tests after setup that's normal. Go look at how you set up DD-WRT it says to back off 10% of your total speed so your network never becomes overwhelmed.
StreamBoost does all that for you.

I've spent the last year testing and doing research even spent the time to contact Qualcomm.
Is the router broken?  NO!
Does it need us the forum users to help make it better by giving good info? YES

I bought this router because I hate lag it makes me a very  >:( dood.
Day one after setup and playing 1 match of Blops2 I was in love  ;D
SB does a good job of keeping thing even.
Do this works well with any COD go play a match or two without SB on. Make sure it's HC so bullets count quick. Now count your bullets.
Now turn SB back on give it a bit to settle in and count your bullets.

Sounds nuts but I did it a few times to see cuz I thought I was trippin  ::)
It takes way less I promise. For me it was about 3-8 bullets difference.
Now don't get me bent that's just what I saw at the time of my test runs.
I'm sure this very's depending on overall speed and ping and such.

If anyone is unsure about setup or how SB works I'll be glad to help.  ;D

Just do me a favor and don't turn this forum into a Gaming forum where people just complain.

Well, it seems you've not proven anything accept for the fact that you wont let anyone help you, give feed back to questions so we can only assume that this a configuration issue. I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support and get there help and ask for an RMA. This maybe a HW issue with your router. Other are having good operation with there routers as I am. I played for hours last night on XBL. It's seems that you and Vigilante are ones having issues with the router.

You'll need to seek official help with D-Link support.

Please keep inflammatory conduct under control or your posts and account maybe removed. If you don't like how the forum is run, then please seek help else where.

Good Luck.

I got tired of playing D-Link's and FurryNutz' game of pretending to be an uninformed customer and going over the basic troubleshooting steps as if this was the first time in my life that I set up a router. This router and D-Link's support for it has been abysmal, it is nowhere near as good as it was promised, heck it isn't even as good as it was right out of the box seeing as every single firmware update has broken something while only partially fixing something else, and all D-Link has done for customers is have this FurryNutz clown who will (with terrible grammar and spelling) do everything in his power to blame the user OR the ISP before ever willing to even let you hint at it being the routers / D-Links fault. The router is very far from functional, specially if what some users were saying of the sole act of logging in to it messes it up is true. Priorities barely work again (finally, after several months of being completely broken with repeated entries), the network map kind of works (icons are still mostly wrong and device detection is a joke. Sometimes it will detect devices properly, most of the time it won't), network connectivity for multiple gaming devices just flat out sucks (try using an Xbox One, a Wii U, a 3DS and an Xbox 360 at the same time. And this is supposed to be a GAMING Router?), updating the firmware still requires the most ******ed, backwards process I have ever had to endure with a router and, if FurryNutz is to be believed, it is still very likely to flat out fail, 5GHz band is barely functional and 802.11ac support is a joke (so that's 2 out of 2 main features of the router that just don't work)...

So yeah, I am with everyone else out there who thinks that while this isn't the worst router out there, it certainly isn't anything like what was promised, it is vastly outperformed by almost every single router in its price and market range from competitors, and has had awful support.

PS: Vigilante, which Router are you currently using as your main? Given the current situation with the DGL-5500 I have lost all hope of it ever working even half as good as it was advertised and I need a replacement.

I played for a few hours last night on XBL. Had a good time. While others were noticing lag, I didn't seen any blatant lag that I could tell. Priorities are working great and holding as expected. I disabled ABE for now and set a manual speed.

Router is running well with it setup in both 2.4 and 5Ghz. All devices are connecting and working well on WiFi.
I turned off logging for now. I still see the 413 error for some reason. Got to be something in FW.

Hey Dark I also own all the same consoles!
They all work fine.
Again Streamboost is done by Qualcomm it's not a D-link product.
I suggest contacting Qualcomm about your SB concerns!
There's only 1 other router at the moment that has SB.
I've done my homework that other router isn't as good.
Go look at what small net builder says about the 5500 and SB.
The router itself is very fast and capable SB just needs some work.

Code takes time to write and sometimes it has bugs.
Most of witch stem from SB and not the router itself.
Please don't twist my words! Yes it did seem as though looking at the stats page may cause an issue in older fw versions.
So far the new Beta is just fine when it comes to that.

Are you using FF? FF works the best when setting up and playing with the router.

Asus RT-AC87U.

I've had the "luxury" of using both routers for my main home networking / online gaming .  The AC87U is superior for both home networking / online gaming.  I have to refrain from going into detail is this is the D-Link forums.

I just couldn't deal with the D-Link firmware "breaks" after a firmware "fix".  Again, I've had the luxury of trying both the 5500 and the AC87U.  Most users in this forum, if not all users in this forum have not tried both.  I can tell you the AC87U is superior to the 5500.  I would bet for those that did try both, they would come to the same conclusion.

I don't plan on getting rid of the 5500 since it's serves very well as an AP in my home network.  If, by some rare miracle the 5500 gets  the "golden" firmware update, I'll test it out.  But for now, the AC87U is at the top of the "router" pecking order here.

Did you happen to disable ABE, set a manual UP and DOWN speed, and leave SB enabled?

IT would be helpful to us if you could give the following feed back:
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
  • Is ISP Modem/Service using Dynamic or Static WAN IP addressing?
  • What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have?

Just tested this on the AC87U - no issues and I'm seeing about 7-12 bullets (sometimes more).   ;D  I didn't mess with any settings in the AC87U.

I might give it a try on the 5500.  I will keep everyone posted.

Correct.  It's in AP mode now.

When I was using it as my main router, I had DISABLED ABE, set a MANUAL DOWN / UP SPEED, and SB WAS ENABLED.

when you say the AC87 performed well in online gaming, were you playing while there was other substantial internet activity (downloads, youtube, etc) going on from other clients?

Yes. I had two console gaming systems playing COD: AW with no lag. I also had Netflix streaming  through an Apple TV AND Netflix streaming 4K content through an HD Media Player. There were no issues with any of the four devices.  I made sure to check the quality of the content being displayed by Netflix.  There were no issues with quality on both devices (Apple TV was in HD / Media Player was 4K).

I suppose it would only be fair to try it on the 5500 as well.

I'd be keen to hear the results when you've done the same test using the 5500

My intended setup is:
Modem -> 5500 -> Netgear R7000 for all wifi + wired lan

If Streamboost performs worse than the AC87's QoS then I might need to rethink my setup.  R7000 benchmarks on smallnetbuilder.com actually found it outperformed most routers on 5GHz wireless performance, so my thinking was that R7000 + 5500 doing nothing but Streamboost would be a killer setup for me.

I suppose it would only be fair to try it on the 5500 as well.

I was able to swap out the AC87U for the 5500 and run the exact same test as above.

**I did notice, on three separate incidences, while playing COD: AW that there was some lag.  It wasn't anything serious and it wasn't for more than a few seconds.
**Netflix being streamed via an Apple TV was in HD quality.  No issues.
**Netflix being streamed via the Sony Ultra HD Media Player was not being streamed in 4K (it was the exact same show - Breaking Bad - that I used to test on the AC87U).  I was getting HD quality, but for some reason it wouldn't stream in 4K.

I did stop the Netflix streaming via the Apple TV and noticed the HD quality on the Sony Ultra HD Media Player switch to 4K quality.  There was no noticeable lag playing COD: AW on two gaming consoles.  I once again began streaming Netflix via an Apple TV.  The Netflix streaming on the Sony Ultra HD Media player had streaming issues and reverted to HD quality.  It was noticed that some lag was experienced in COD: AW once again.  It wasn't anything more than what was experienced before.

All in all, the 5500 seemed to handle everything very well.  Not quite as good as the AC87U, but acceptable by my standards!  I don't plan to ever have this exact set up (two gaming consoles / streaming 4K content / streaming HD content) all going at once, so the 5500 is certainly capable of handling most of what was thrown at it.

Now if D-Link would get their act together and provide a decent firmware that fixes issues and doesn't "break" perfectly working issues.

I'm sticking with the AC87U as the main router.  The 5500 will go back as an AP for now.

Hows your router doing? I re-enabled ABE on mine over the weekend and even though it's stil "Testing" it detected the ISP speed correctly and gaming has been great. I enabled the Syslog server and I'm collecting some logs for D-Link. Router has been working well.

RETURNED THE ASUS.  I'm back using the 5500 as my main router  ;D.  It was a solid router, but I missed some of the features that the 5500 had that the RT-AC87U didn't have.  The ASUS RT-AC87U was still a solid router though.  I kept going back and forth using the Asus RT-AC87U and 5500 as my router / AP.   After coming to the conclusion that the 5500 suited me just fine, I couldn't justify the hefty price tag using the RT-AC87U as an access point.  I'll find another 868L (for much cheaper) and use that as a wireless bridge in my home.  I already have an 868L and use it as an AP, so another 868L should be perfect for a solid wireless signal in my home.

Do you use the 868L as your main AP and shut off the 5500s wireless? The 868L has faster WiFi that the 5500 does. You could use the 868L as your main AP and then get another for bridging.

Ha!  I never thought of that!  I might just have to do that!  I currently do use the 868L as my main AP, but do not shut off the 5500's wireless. Thanks for the suggestion and info (868L having faster WiFi).  Amazon.com, here I come!!   ;D

Will do!  On a different note, I might spend the extra few $$$ and go with the DIR 880L (currently 25% off at Amazon) as my main AP, turning off the 5500's radio and using the 868L in a bedroom located on the opposite end of the house for a better wireless signal throughout my home.  Hmmmmmm?  Decisions.......decisions.   ::)

The only difference between the 880L and the 868L is the 2.4Ghz is 600Mb on the 880L where the 868L is 450Mb on 2.4Ghz. The 5Ghz radio is the same speed 1300Mb.
I could throw a monkey wrench in your decision making with this contraption:  ;D

Geez!!!  You just did!!  Same 'ol FurryNutz and his "monkey wrenches".   ;D  Guess I'm gonna have to wait patiently for the 890L!  It looks like a drone (love the design).  I wonder if it will auto fly around the house to always have the optimal connection rate / signal strength).   ;D

Ya, I don't know when that will hit the USA markets. I presume maybe in the next couple of months. It first appeared on the ME web site as I just happend to stumble upon it look for support info for a user. So you can have one 2.4Ghz radio going while having 2x 5Ghz radios going. Wheew. So I've had an up-time of 23 days so far with b1.13.02 and it's been nothing but solid. StreamBooster enabled with auto bandwidth detection off. I've been gaming heavily on both PlanetSide 2 and League of Legends, which StreamBooster recognizes just fine.

Up until about a month ago I had been on 1.11, and the broken Chrome GUI was really frustrating. It's nice to have a nice stable build with a working GUI.

Can you test and game with ABE enabled?

What ISP Speed do you have>?
What ISP Mfr and Model # modem do you have?

Also, I believe there was an issue with Chrome on this router at one point. Next time, if Chrome exhibits issues on the UI, Pleaes try IE or FF as well to see if the problem follows there.

Thanks for sharing feedback and it's working for you too.

I will look into enabling ABE for a weekend game test.

I'm using Comcast which is normally good for 50-60Mbps down and 10Mbps up.
Also I'm using a Motorola SB6121 which I bought from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XC6GJ0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'll keep you posted on any weird Chrome things, but so far so good.
