Title: DIR-815 Specification
Post by: daisywong on March 25, 2013, 09:05:34 PM
Dear Sir,

I would like to ask some questions about DIR-815 that I can’t find these questions on the datasheet:
1.   What is the wireless transmit power of DIR-815?
2.   What is the receiver sensitivity of DIR-815?
3.   What is the modulation technology/Radio & Modulation Schemes of DIR-815?

Best Regards,
Daisy

Dear All,

For my Q3, is it include Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), Complementary Code Keying (CCK), DQPSK, DBPSK?

Thank You!

These are some very technical questions. May I ask what your reason for asking is? A little background could help.

A submission to your client? What? Are you a reseller? A Aggregator? If so, there are alot more effect back channels for your request. Nothing obtained over this forum will be official. Also, everything I found was just using Google. Most specs are going to be FCC cert. Just look up the FCC white sheets on the Ralink RT3662 chipset.

Be advised that there is some information that is proprietary to DLink and thus not made available to the public forum other than what is officially released to vendors and public sources. If you need continued information beyond what has been officially released or posted, please phone contact DLink directly to inquire about any additional information.

Thank you and good luck.

Actually all that stuff has to be public. Like it has to be public by law. All you need is find the FCC ID and search here (http://transition.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid/) on their website and you can find everything you need to know. But Im doing all the work for them now..but im in a good mood so here. DIR-815 A1 FCC Reports (https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/GenericSearchResult.cfm?RequestTimeout=500)

Just stating that there maybe some information that isn't made public for obvious reasons.  ::)
