My Avast anti-virus keeps telling me I must change my router password (which I guess is ADMIN) but I can't find any reference to this in the manual and on Youtube it never shows the page that come up when I put in my router IP address - IMGUR image link is https://imgur.com/RlN64Lg. Any help would be most welcome as I am totally at sea here!

You have to log into the modems web page. PW maybe blank for admin. if you can get in, then look under the Administration section of the modems web page to change the log in PW.

Hi,
I have repeatedly now logged in using admin as the password and changed the password under the "maintenance" tab. However when I sign in again neither admin nor the new password works! I'm getting tired of returning the modem to factory settings and starting over!

What browser are you using? Try IE11 FF or Opera. Be sure to clear out ALL browsers caches after you set the new PW in the modems web page. After setting the enw PW. Clear the browser cache once more, exit the re-open the browser and then try to log in.
IF this still fails, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.

We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
