Title: Wrong ID and refuse to revert to original firmware?

My DLINK DIR-868L refuse to take in factory firmware even i did a hard reset. It keep thinking itself as DIR-855.
Is my unit had a bad ROM hardware?

• What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
• Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
• What region are you located?

The sticker under the router confirms it's a DIR-868L?
If so, You can try this and reload FW:
