Installed a DPR-1260 in wireless mode with a D-Link DIR-628 wireless router. HP6110 printer is hooked up to the -1260. Laptop is running Vista 64. Print may sit in the que for >20 minutes or forever. I have tried the wireless route with intermittent success and I have also tried a direct ethernet connect to the print server but no difference. Uninstalled and reinstalled printer numerous times and tried rebooting printer server to no avail. DPR-1260 firmware is up to date. I am running out of ideas and would appreciate any advice short of ditching the printer server for a Linksys and calling it quits w/D-Link. Thanks!

I am in your same boat, Vista 64 does not fully print thru with the 1260. I have tested out my computer with Vista 64 and the document remains in the print que because it does not print not even a full page 1. Ive also just tested with my notebook which is Vista 32-bit and it prints thru perfectly from the first page to the last. I consider it could be a compatibility with Vista 64 version. Even with the newest 1.24 firmware is still hangs with my Vista 64. Hopefully a new firmware could fix this in the future.

Are you printing using TCP/IP raw or LPR? Maybe try switching to the one you are not using? Or try setting it up manually if the setup tool isn't working. If using LPR you will need to look up the queue name for your printer on the DPR-1260 status page. If TCP/IP you will need to look up the port number.

I called tech support. They fixed this issue by having me assign a fixed IP address to the DPR-1260 and then adding the printer manually in the printers folder. I am on Win Vista 64 Bit. Documents were being sent to the printer. It would start to print and then just hang forever. Now it prints just fine.
