				Hi,

I've just done a system restore (to factory settings) on my laptop.

So my question is how do i reconnect my NAS 320l to my laptop again? i really hope i wont lose all the stuff I've got my hhds.

 thanks for the help.

Is the DNS and laptop connected to a main host router or are you directly connecting the LT to the DNS?

the laptop is wirelessly  and the NAS i havent turned on since my laptop was restored. But it will be connected to the router (wired)

Well if it's connected to the router and ON, it will get an IP address from the router. Have the LT connect to this IP address in a web page. Look at the routers DHCP client table to see what the IP address maybe for the DNS.

Yeah  8) i can connct to it via my browser.

and now for my final noob question how do i add to the my laptop on my network? last time i had a folder on my laptop that just let me direct to the tower but for the life of me i cant remember how it did that.

thanks for the help so far  ;)

To get to the DNSs shared folders if thats what your referring too, do a Map Drive and connect to \\IPaddressofDNS\Volume_1 or Volume2 if you have two drives in the DNS.

 \\192.168.0.#\Volume_1
