I upgraded to the 201 firmware hoping this would resolve itself its seems to have not.   I cannot get my gmail to connect to my camera.  Below are the settings I thought would work.  Any ideas ?

 smtp server smtp.gmail.com
 smtp port 587
 sender email address ****@gmail.com
receiver email address (same as above)
 username ***@gmail.com
 use ssl-tls/starttls :  starttls

Those settings look spot on. The only thing I would try is SMTP Port 465 with SSL instead of TLS.

If that doesn't work, who is your ISP?

If you're technically minded, a telnet would cut right to the point. See here for instructions how to get and use telnet (its like CMD but different) see here.  (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/telnet-faq#1TC=windows-7). Then Telnet > Open smtp.gmail.com 587 > enter. If screen changes and you see mail server on top, you have connection. If you don't, something is blocking your connection. Can figure out what after getting above results.
