Title: keep unit in voip mode?

Is there a way to configure the DPH-50U to stay in voip mode unless you switch to landline mode?

No, there is no way to keep the DPH-50U on VoIP mode. The unit will switch to VoIP once you signal the intention to dial out using VoIP.
