I am doing the Quick Router Setup Wizard. I am able to get it all the way for it to verify that my network is available and it restarts the network but when it comes time to check firmware...a message tells me "Error: 112 incorrect router" so I look up online that new firmware has been released for update.
I know nothing about setting up a network. Do I need to get a new installation CD? Call D-Link directly to get a installation CD? Or do I need to just buy a new router all together?
Since I cannot get my router to work... I guess I cannot access the configuration page online right? 192.168.0.1 is the default... What do I do???
What should I do? help, please???

Does anyone haev a clue? as to what I am having trouble with?

try the configuration page at 192.168.0.1 if you can reach it. If you have any questions, just post them here.

I got the same problem with this error. however a could acess to page router and everythink works fine for a time. Unfortunally I completly lost wireless signal for no reason and I could not be able to configure and get it back. Iīve decided for upgrade firmware from 1.11 to 1.21, since than I canīt save any configuration that I choose and also got a message on status page, field WLAN:
Wireless radio: init failure.
If anyone could help me out, please.
P.S. My wired conection still work with DIR-655 and my wireless has no signal of life
