Just added a second DAP-1522, both as APs. Different static IPs from router, same SSID, same pw, different channels (6 & 11).
Galaxy tab 7.2 w/Android 4.2.2 connects to first AP, detects second AP when roaming, but cannot obtain an IP from second AP and won't connect even with first AP unplugged. Router logs indicate repeated communication with second AP and IP assigned but the tablet just cycles 'obtaining IP' to 'failed to obtain IP'.
2nd AP works flawlessly with wireless cameras. I'm pretty much out of ideas to get the tablet to correctly roam to the second AP.

You may want to update FW and test again as I see there is v2.07 available:

If you do, please follow this:

Updated firmware to 2.07, no luck. Won't connect to my android phone, wired ip camera, or wired dvr. 2 months left on the warranty. very disappointed.

Curious just as a test, can you switch to wireless G mode temporarily and use WPA2/TPIK and see if these devices connect to the DAP?
If not, then you may have a faulty unit. I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Tried N and G, and N,G,B. No change. I even replaced the network line to my detached garage. I'll have to contact d-link and hope for a RMA. Thanks-
