				Gents,

 I bought a DIR868L or AC1750 Dlink router with USB3 port
so i want to add a external harddrive 1gb to it, shareport does
see the device but i don't see it in explorer and when i want to access it in shareport windows
asks a password and username (insert networkreference username and password to connect to 192.168.0.1)
, so i tried to play with the vault in windows 8
and added a networkreference , but no luck connecting to the harddisk
so i have no clue where to get this password that is asked
I'm from Belgium and using windows 8.1 64bit

anyone any experiance with this ?

 Thanks
 Stef

 - What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?

Review this and see if it works:

				Hi,

 Hardware A1
 firmware 1.04
 location Belgium

I overviewed your review , everything seems ok
only this "storage setup wizard" i can't find on my router
under storage i made an account but doesn't make a difference

so i really don't know why windows asks for a username and password
maybe it's just a stupid thing in windows 8.1 :)

Any chance you have a Windows 7 PC or try an older version of Windows to check?

i installed shareport on my laptop with windows 7 64bit
but still when i want to access the disk in shareport windows asks me a username and password

i guess it must have something to do with windows security cause on top of the popup
for the username is marked windows security

Enter the Admin and PW of the log in of the routers web page...?
