Title: Fixed IP for DP-301U Print Server

Hi,

I have try to set a fixed IP address for my print server by manually assigning the IP address of the device to 192.168.7.40.  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium.  When I go to my network and right click properties for the device it is showing the device webpage as 192.168.7.6.  Does anyone know why this is happening as I want the printer to stay on the same IP rather than get a different DHCP address each time.  The thing that is confusing me also is that if I put in 192.168.7.40 into browser it is bringing up the print server so why is it not showing the address 7.40 instead of 7.6?

Any advice appreciated.
