This procedure is intended to ensure availability of mapped ShareCenter HDDs from a client PC/laptop that exists from sleep or hibernation on Windows 7
Procedure
- Click the Start menu and type device manager in the Start Search box
- Click Device Manager in the Programs list
- In the Device Manager Dialog box, expand Network Adapters
- Right-click the active network device, and then click Properties
- In the Properties dialog box, click the Power Management tab and uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box
- Click OK, and close Device Manager.
