Title: Frequent accessing from amazonaws.com 50.18.50.50 ?
Post by: acellier on July 16, 2012, 10:04:12 AM
Looking at our router's logs, our 2 cameras are being accessed about once per minute -
[LAN access from remote] from 50.18.50.50 ...
around the clock, even when we are not actively using MyDlink.com or the portable apps

Why is this happening ? Could it be the source of interference with our camera's ftp'ing to our server?

Can or should it be stopped? We tried blocking it in the router, without effect.

Interesting. Amazon web services provides cloud services. There is support for that in the newer ShareCenters. I wonder if D-Link is utilizing amazonws as part of their cloud infrastructure.  :-\
