Title: Motion Detection Grid

I know this has been covered before but, I couldn't find the topic in a search  >:(
In the motion detection grid, do the cross-hatched areas represent the areas "COVERED" in motion detection, or "NOT COVERED"  ??? ??? ???

I forget myself sometimes, the manual is quite ambiguous.  ???

If you are having motion detection sensitivity issues, start with a very low detection sensitivity (e.g. 5%) and work you way up to a higher number.

They represent the areas "COVERED" in motion detection.

The word "COVERED" may be interpreted by some as "OBSCURED", especially to non-English speakeers - how about we say the cross-hatches are the areas where motion is SENSED ? Thus, no cross-hatch means no sensing.
I *think* that's what we mean ...
