Title: D-Link Wireless N DWA-556 - Vista 64bit drivers

Hi,
does the DWA-556 work with Windows Vista 64bit? In the download section, I can only find x86 bit drivers, but no 64bit-drivers.
I need suitable drivers for Vista Ultimate 64bit. Where I can find them? Will be released 64bit drivers in the future?

Unfortunately we do not have an ETA on new drivers at this time.

The DWA-552, DWA-556, and DWA-643 all have the WHQL drivers that should allow you install these adapters in 64nit Vista.

You'll have to download the Atheros 5008 drivers (which is what this chipset uses). They work for Vista x64.

Try the top driver here:

I could not get the WHQL drivers to work when I tried them before.

Vista64 doesn't not play nice with non WHQL drivers

Any WHQL driver should be ok with Vista 64.
