				hello , i recently bought the DIR-655.
I installed it fine and internet is working.  but when i try to play a game , It can't connect to any servers. (I'm using an wired connection)

 games included ; battlefield 2 , team fortress 2 , L4D , Call of duty 4/5.

I can see the servers in the serverlist, even the ping is good for them.
But when i try to connect to them it just doesn't connect.

 Can anyone help?

If you've never heard of 'port forwarding' with a router you might wanna try searching Google for that first, or consult gaming forums on the ports that need it.

-
oops i forgot to post that , i have port forwarded all ports needed for the game i said.

-
Also on your Internet modem? UPnP does not work between router and modem so you need to manually set them also.

-
				yes.

-
What is your router firewall setting? You may need to set it to Endpoint independent

-
				Enable SPI :   CHECKED
 UDP Endpoint Filtering:  Address Restricted
TCP Endpoint Filtering:  Port And Address Restricted
 Enable anti-spoof checking:   NOT CHECKED
 Enable DMZ:   NOT CHECKED
 PPTP :   CHECKED
 IPSec (VPN) :   CHECKED
 RTSP :   CHECKED
 SIP :   CHECKED

-
				Try this:
 Enable SPI :   UNCHECKED
 UDP Endpoint Filtering:  Endpoint independent
 TCP Endpoint Filtering:  Endpoint independent

-
nope , that dident seem to work.

-
Get a pic of your Portforwarding scheme online. If that is errored, we can spent a whole week suggesting solutions.

 Otherwise try this tool: http://www.simpleportforwarding.com/

				here it is,

Might add that my the hardware = A4  with 1.21eu  firmware.

				Tried the tool yet?

 List looks OK to me.
-
yeah tried the tool , just gives me a message that i already opend the ports.
Im pretty sure its something with the router.

I directly connected my pc to my modem and everything worked.

I have Steam and some of those games on your list.
They all work fine for me without port forwarding so maybe it is the router like you wrote.

i fixed it , seemed that i had to use the beta.   ( dir655_firmware_121b11_beta02 )
 That solved my problem :)
