Title: Physical LAN plugs max out at 10 Mb/s, they are supposed to be 10/100
Post by: wallex77 on April 22, 2011, 09:19:44 AM
I have tried changing both the router setting and the computer to force a 100 Mb/s connection, but this results in a complete failure to connect.  The LAN connection only works in 10 Mb/s mode.

This is the first time I've ever experienced a LAN that was slower than my internet connection.

Yes, I have upgraded to 1.02A firmware.

First of all you need to make sure your cables are in good working condition. Putting on WRT FW wont fix the OP if cables are in good condition.
2ndly, what devices are you connecting to the router?
Are the NIC on the devices supporting 100 speeds? Some support Gb too.
Are the NICs set up on the devices for auto speed or manual? I should be manual by default.
DO all devices show the same connection speed?
