How to verify router's  wireless set up is secured ( and encrypted) from Admin GUI ?

Which menu to look at in Admin GUI ?

Go to the Setup Page and choose Wireless Networking.  Click the Manual Wireless Network Setup Button,  look at the Security Mode box to see what it is setup as.

 in Security Mode box , I see its written as "WPA-Personal".

Does that enforce a client to use  a network key to connect to my router ?

Yes, unless you have also set up the Guest Zone and not set security on that.
