Just bought a pair of 1.5TB drives to set up in a RAID 1 configuration on my DNS-323; everything seemed to be OK (disk check etc) until I tried copying over about 1/2 TB of files from my other DNS 323 and I got the error message that there wasn't enough space available on Volume_1 (needed an additional 287 GB).  So I checked admin and it is showing -1MB as the capacity and 0MB of unused space.  Physical disk info is reporting correctly.

I was able to copy a smaller amount of files over (1/8 TB) - at least I started copying, I'll find out in a few hours if it was successful.

Should I return the drives or is there some way to get them to work?

 Thanks

 Dave

Did you reboot the NAS after the disk check? They are unmounted for the check I believe.

Hey that may have solved it.   :D

Restarted, now I don't get an error message when I copy 450GB over.

Odd that it would let me copy over anything if the drive was unmounted though.
