I've been content with the DIR-655 for some time. Not being all that knowledgeable about the tech side of things, I'm wanting to convert my existing (4) LAN ports to wired, as well as add a minimum of 2 additional wired LAN ports. I already am using one of the existing LAN ports feeding to an older D-Link that serves as a powered hub in a recording room/backup server area, so uncertain if another hub is the answer. Is there a similar quality/tech D-Link router that offers a greater number of LAN ports? Bear with me; I'm not knowledgeable enough to gauge what would be the best approach here. thanks

i would use a switch such as belkin gs105/or gs108 in place of the other router it has 1 gig capability
that is what i am using with my dir655 and seems to work well, i also use network magic to monitor my network i have 3 pc's , 1 dvr, 1 server, 1 wii, 1 blueray, 1 printer
i connected the pc's and printer to dir 655 used 1 port to connect switch and connected remaining device to the switch
