Does anybody know if the antenna for this router is removable? ??? The model I have doesn't seem like it is and I am afraid that I might break it if I try.
I would like to connect an external antenna I have.

interesting...when you buy it was already assembled?!
(i own a DIR600) when I buy it: i remember very clear when i plugged in the antenna...i presume the router are similar...

I'm also having the same doubts, I bought the router d-link DIR-601 and have not found the answer in the manual, if you have already discovered appreciate it if let me know!

I came across this DIY for the DIR 601. It requires some soldering but it works. I had another antenna plus I got the router for $15 on special. All in all, not a bad little project.

There is a place on the board to solder a connector in, but it does not seem to do anything.
