Hi I have the latest firmware on a A4 revision of DIR-655. I use shareport very often with Canon IP4000 printer. PC and 2 laptops (wi-fi connected) all have Windows 7 (2x x64 + 1x x86) installed (1 fresh installation) and new SharePort Utility v3.00.

Problem is that SharePort can only connect to printer for about 1 day after router last reboot. Whenever I want to print after few days that router hasn't been rebooted, shareport just keeps connecting/disconnecting, but as soon as I reboot the router, shareport immediately connects and prints the documents (I don't even have to cancel the print queue and send it again).

This happens on all 3 computers...

Please it really bothers me, what can be the problem?

Or is there any way to reboot DIR-655 on a schedule? Maybe some ssh script scheduled on a desktop PC?
 Thx

enable DHCP, remove all PC's from the LAN/WAN history, make sure your 3 PC's are set to Obtain IP's automatically.

this will stop the modem from reseting.  or should.. Or... did for me.  I had the same problem with my router.

Wait, what? My router is not reseting, I just have to reboot it manually to get SharePort to work...
