Can not connect to DGL-4500 with T-Mobile/HTC Windows Mobile 6.5 Dash 3G using WPA2 and AES with a passphrase of September1946 or 64 zeroes.

Do those devices support the AES encryption method? Some devices only support TPIK. What mode are you using for WiFi?
What happends when you try only TPIK or auto? I now my MAC Book Pro does support WPA2/AES at N mode only on 5Ghz on the 4500. My 1st gen iPhone only does G mode at 2.4Ghz with TPIK.

Can only use AES to support 802.11n on the Dell Inspiron 1720 and 1721. I do NOT want to lose 300 mbps on the Dell notebooks.

sounds like you need a WiFi access point to augment your 4500 that will broadcast the other wifi modes you need. I have the same kind of setup here. I run the 4500 on the N mode only for my mac book and have a 2nd Airport WiFi unit that handles the B/G wireless mode devices like the iPhones and other Non N supporting devices in the house.

Can't you have the setting for AES and TKIP, then it will let the device choose? That way your Dell's use AES and the phone uses TKIP?

That is exactly what I determined yesterday after connecting to a Netgear router with that configuration.
