Title: Connecting two DGL-4500 together as bridge?
Post by: DJ2004 on February 05, 2010, 04:44:37 PM
Hello guys!

Like mentioned before- any chance to connect two of these devices wirelessly to use one of them as a bridge? I have a DGL 4500 and a DIR-855 but there are so similar so I just thought it might work.
Sorry if this is a stupid question!

THANKS!

I don't have a concrete answer for you but I was told specifically by D-Link ages ago that it wasn't possible with 2 DGL-4300's.  You can however do it wired but that defeats the purpose.  Using an access point such as the DAP-1522 (what I used to extend the range of 1 DGL-4300) is probably your best solution if you need it done wirelessly.

Sorry man, no bridging features of this router, This is router is in most part for gaming. Im sure other DLink or non Dlink products will have those features.
