Title: Any correlation between hardware revision and certain firmware level?

I've always been wondering if there is one firmware that works with certain revision and not others?
Is that why some people have no problems with certain firmwares while others do?

In order to analyze that you will need to setup a serious list of questions and specific error reports. Otherwise it's just guessing.
