Title: Is it possible to backup DNS-323 to another network drive?
Post by: KOTULCN on January 29, 2010, 04:35:33 PM: So I got tired of the issues with my Linksys WRT310N and purchased the Apple Airport Extreme N router. The router comes with a usb port for either a printer or HDD and since I have the 323 I opted to connect my printer to my 323 and add another network drive to my Airport Extreme. My only question is, is there a way to set up my new network drive to back-up certain folders from my DNS 323? ???

whereis the application section? I am running 1.06 FW

So I upgraded my firmware to 108 but dont see an option to backup to an external source? Is this possible?

Post by: jamieburchell on January 31, 2010, 12:51:30 PM: The facility to shedule downloads FROM an FTP server, network share or local folder to you DNS, is within the applications screen accessed by the applications button on the DNS's web interface.

Sounds like you want the reverse functionality. Does your new router let you do anything like that? Failing that, either mod your DNS with fun_plug or copy manually through the network.
