Title: N-mode in dir-655 question
Post by: kthaddock on January 27, 2010, 12:42:01 PM
HI

Question to Lycan and other

In Dir-655, If you use N-mode. If you choose ch1 or ch11 on which side are the channel ?
N-mode is 42MHz wide +-21MHz.

Ch1= use ch1 to 8  Ch11= use Ch 12 to 4  and now the big question, which side are Ch6 then?

There is barely space for one N-channel without overlapping channels and 1 G-channel at the same time
Only 3 G-channel and only if you can use Ch 1 to 13.

My DIR defaults to channnel 9 and 5 as second with auto channel scan.
With channel 6 as first channel, both is possible.
lower: 6 and 2
upper: 6 and 10

Some devices let you choose which version you want.
But seems the DIR-655 decides this on its own - perhaps scanning the availability.
