I am using the latest drivers and I let the computer go to sleep.  When I bring it back the network cannot be found.  I use the WCM then it cannot even find any network.

I take the card out, put it back in and everything works fine.

What version of the driver are you running?
What is the make and model of the laptop being used?

I did say that I was using the latest drivers.  The OS I did not mention.  That is Windows Vista Premium.

This is a Dell XPS Gen2 running Vista.

i have started having the same problem.  lenovo t-60 notebook w/windows vista business.  when using security settings of wpa2/aes in order to have the adapter link with my dir-655 router at 300Mbps, when the notebook comes out of sleep mode it will not connect back up with the router unless the notebook is rebooted.

What about the repair feature in windows, does that fix it?

i tried the repair selection once to no avail.  this didn't start to happen until i changed from wpa-psk to wpa2.  i changed to wpa2 because with the former i couldn't get anything faster than 54 Mbps 802.11g but with wpa-psk this problem never occurred.
