Those are good stats man. You'll be fine. Just Keep to 2.4Ghz. Unless your in line of sight of the router or one wall away, 5Ghz isn't good since it's susceptible to objects at such a high frequency. Just the nature of the beast, other OEMs have the same prob.  ;)

I am right next to my router xD So ya I decided to test the 5ghz. Surprisingly I get less drops and errors on the 5GHz

Here are my stats:

2.4Ghz

Too bad my iphone can only connect to the 2.4Ghz. I'm loving the 300mb connection I have on my laptop.

So there is still no Revision Beyond 1.23NA STILL?

I still CANNOT Connect our Wii's at Our LAN Center to Our DGL4500 which is supposed to be the
ULTIMATE Gaming ROUTER ^_;

WHAT does D-LINK do all day =(

I would be happy to Beta Test Trouble shoot with them but THEY are the Developers that Coded and Designed the DGL-4500

What is the Lan Center? How are you trying to connect them? Wired or Wireless? There are known issues with Wii connecting to various routers. Others have been able to get theres working:

Have you researched connection and setup process for Wii? From what I understand, there isn't going to be another FW build for a while. How is your network set up? DSL or cable?

Its been awhile since I was last here I thought we already discussed this O_o... anyway...

Comcast Business Class (
Two Old Wii's trying to connect via Wireless of course cus they don't integrated LAN =(

I remember you told me bout the Channel ... 11 and another a long time ago when I last discussed it here.... I tried that and that didn't help.  Ever since I updated the router from the original (v1.02) to (v1.21NA and v1.22NA) The Wii's would no longer connect and I even updated the to WPA and varfied the Key was correct.

How about trying G mode only at 2.4GHz with out any password as a test? Will they connect then? I'm wondering if there is a problem on the mode they are using or if there is a Security mode problem. Let us know what happens with out any security set for a test.

Comcast is Cable (Fiber at the Line and Coax as it comes into the building)

I have no Idea if there is an internal Router.....
INTERNAL ROUTER INDEED WTF This Modem is different then what we had downstairs  ( Before the Toilet Floods, along story for later) this one says......

I tried a connection test on one of our two Wii(s) with the the Security Disabled.... still wouldn't connect with the Nintendo Error Code 51330... "Incorrect key?"
but I have double, Triple, Quad, and so forth verified  the Key's Accuracy.

ok second test round:
Inactive

Wi-Fi Protected Setup          : Disabled
Guest Wi-Fi Protected Setup : Disabled
Security Mode                     : Disabled

With these Settings I retried the Wii's Connection and FAIL with a Slightly different error code
Nintendo Wii Error Code: 51331,    I usually got Code: 51330
 All our Manual IP Setting are Good....

Ya, I'm noticing recently that cable modems are coming with internal routers. Yours says "Gateway" and thats it's own router. Some of the cable modems and routers are dealing with VoIP and phone systems. If your still getting errors on the Wii, I would see if you can put the cable modem into a bridge or transparent mode if it supports it. I don't know for sure. The 4500 and Wii need to gain access to a Public IP address and not a private IP address. This setup is having to dual NAT since there is 2 routers on line and the 4500 can't route and get the Wii connected properly is my main guess.

We moved up from a basement so like I said this modem/Router is new. I wasn't even here during that move do to a near death accident on my bicycle (or so they say <_<)
As it stands I don't have the access info for that modem s*** at the moment................ :(

so this problem was happening before this new modem was installed during said move it started happening after the Firmware Update I had done  I am sure of that much.... :(

I have Tested it in both,
WPA-TKIP and WPA-AES Modes.

No, the modem does not have Wireless, and the Wii's do not have a Integrated NIC (LAME Nintendo!!!!)

Our DGL-4500 (v1.22NA) is set to:
B,G,N
Channel Auto ( I have tried the Wii when one of the two Displayed Channeled were 1 or 11)
WPA&WPA2
AES and TKIP which ever a client tries to connect to.....

I'll post back in a bit will try again...

I was under the Impression that Wii's (older ones atleast) used B Wireless :(

While I have been testing the B and G only modes... in both cases the Wii CAN see our
Router (DGL-4500(A1)(v1.22NA)    so it must support both  lol
anyway

Wii Error Code 51330 (with any Security Enables)(Channel 11)
Wii Error Code 51330 (with Security Disabled)(Channel 11)
when it comes right down to it the firmware Update did it (ie SW bug)
it worked in version 1.02 and not in v1.22NA
