Disabling microphone does not work

Engineers have replicated this issue and will work on a new firmware to fix. I will post here when I get it. I have no idea when.

Unfortunately this cannot be fixed with a firmware upgrade. The enable/disable microphone is only for live viewing and recording from the live view screen. Motion detection will always record audio even if the mic is disabled.  The vendor stated this feature was by design.
