Title: Port SMB opened into DIR-868L
Post by: speedy67 on October 05, 2019, 06:03:50 AM
Hi Folks !
A user of my LAN has recently discovered a "dir-868l" device in his neighborhood. And actually, the smb (445) port of my router is opened (not thru - from wan to lan - but into the router - from lan at least). I verified this opening the 445 port with a telnet command. I don't understand this because all sharing services (usb drive..) are disabled. The only parameter I recently changed was enabling response to ping.
Has someone an idea ?
Thx a lot.

"A user of my LAN has recently discovered a "dir-868l" device in his neighborhood"? So is this user on your LAN side network?
Is this DIR-868L connected as a main host router or in AP mode on your LAN side network?
His neighborhood? This mean Network Neighborhood?

Please explain a bit more.
