Powerlight remains orange
« on: February 17, 2012, 04:59:18 PM »

Hi Friends,

I was trying to install openvpn at my home. I installed dd-wrt firmware for my Dlink DIR601 router.

I was following this guide http://www.howtogeek.com/64433/how-to-install-and-configure-openvpn-on-your-dd-wrt-router/.

After that to enable vpn flavour in my firmware i downloaded dd-wrt.v24_vpn_generic.bin from internet and uploaded. As soon as uploading completed i lost my connection with router and router power light became orange.

Now i am getting only that orange power light on router's dashboard. I tried to reset router lots of time and removed power supply also but router is not responding. Is there a way out for me or i just lost my router?

Regards,
Vijay

You'll need to refer to the WRT support site for this FW. This site is for OEM firmware support.
