It just only can be firmware issue, because without router(direct connection with machine) everything working well, so it could not be ISP issue. It could not be router as well, because if I downgradeing the fw everything is working again.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. Your regional D-Link support office will need to review and handle this. I presume this maybe an ISP/Router issue. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I don't get answer from the support yet. I tried DIR-879 with new firmware as switch and it works so the software has PPPOE bug.
Conclusion:
- I bought a not cheap router and new firmware of this router  has PPPOE bug
- I can't defend my network from the security gaps via this router
- D-Link support can't give answer to my ticket

I would contact your regional D-Link support office on the phone instead of email ticket. This needs to be addressed by your regional D-Link office.

Dear D-link!

the same problem as Lacika76, Otisz..

Unfortunately, the latest firmware (v1.05WWb05) (1.06.B01 beta) doesn't working good. :-(
Connection via PPPoE: ok
Ping for any valid address: ok
Traceroute for any valid address: ok
Web pages: not working, except some (for example: www.facebook.com)
WiFi connection working, but the internet service on it also not working.
I think it will be a kind of DNS problem.
Backward to fw_103b01 everything working good.
What will be the problem? After I updated the newest fw, should I set the factory default on the 879?
After the factory default the newest fw will working properly?
Please analyze this problem?
My provider is same as lacika76(Digi), and Im connected via direct cable(RJ45) connection. Router is on version 1.03.

Dlinkdns doesn't working - not connected status :(.
Dir-842 OK! internet and dlinkddns..

Thanks,
Joccmo

Welcome!

You can stay a stay at 1.03 which is operating.
But the dlinkdyndns function of firmware version doesn't work, "not connected"
Solution? Tested: 1.01-1.06

Thank you!

Hi,
Upgrade the router with 1.05B05.
After setup ipv4 please also set the ipv6 internet section as:
- PPPoE,
- Share ipv4,
- Dynamic IP,
- Address Auto Configuration Settings set as Disabled
With DIGI 1Gb/s PPPoE connection it works!

the problem is with ipv4 vs ipv6 on the WAN port and also with Auto settings.
