Title: Unable to login to my router (192.168.1.1)
Post by: Surrend3r on November 10, 2018, 12:42:17 PM
When ever I'm trying to log in to my router it asks for username and password as usual but when I enter them both I get a white blank page.
All I know about my modem is that it is a DSL - G256DG VDSL Router (That's at least what it says on the router itself).

Is this modem from a ISP or a retail unit that you bought?
Try using a different browser? IE11, FF or Opera?

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

My modem is from an ISP.
I tried using Microsoft Edge and Opera and still haven't worked.

I recommend contacting your ISP. Some ISPs managed there modems that they give to there customers. They may have different processes in regards to use and accessibility of there HW.
