Dumbest question ever . . .
« on: May 18, 2016, 05:23:45 PM »

I bought 3 of these cameras, all work great on app for my phone, they are used in my father in-laws house to check up on him, I get home after setting up the entire thing, go to Dlink website to get some software for Windows so I can set up a spare computer which will be used for monitoring, NO SOFTWARE ????
Am I going crazy, is there regular (non mobile) software to view the cameras on a computer ???, I must be dumb as nails.
Thanks for listening.

What software are you looking for?

Did you go to mydlink.com ?

Yes, I did, clicked on my camera on support page, had manual, firmware update, etc. NOTHING under software tab.
Im looking for Windows software for a computer, not a mobile device, that will let me view the cameras, I must be from a different era because I assumed it there would be one for download. Is there a general program from Dlink somewhere that I missed ?

Like I said, I am dumb as nails, all I had to do was log in and they have a web based plugin to view cameras. thanks for the info.
That being said, can the video be embedded in a custom web page, I would like to flip between cameras every 30 seconds or so automatically ?

Well there is Dviewcam software from dlink.

But it might not work for the 2630l yet.

There are other software packages out there by people.
