Question about extensibility
« on: December 06, 2020, 05:09:32 AM »

Hello everyone,

I sent this question to the support twice, but I haven't received an answer, so I'll try it here.
I got a pair of COVR-2200 at my house. There are still wifi black spots, so I have a few questions.

  • If I get another "pair" of COVR-2200, can I extend my mesh with these? Or it comes with a Master router is not usable as a node?
  • Alternatively, can I extend my connection with D-Link COVR-C1203 (3 pack)?

Yeah I am running with 4 units. Before you drop another $250 bucks thought... be aware I have a lot of issues.

Have you tried using a signal meter on your phone to test dead spots?

I bought 4 units but it turned out my problems were with ethernet backhaul not working properly. Now I have 2 extra units I don't really need.

If you can get backhaul working that would be best.
