QoS Engine: equal bandwidth for every connected device?
« on: October 07, 2017, 09:51:36 AM »

SPECS

DIR-868L
Hardware Version : A1
Firmware Version: 1.03SHC Sun 19 Apr 2015

Hi. With regards to QoS Engine, i would like to equally distribute bandwidth among all connected devices (smartphone, desktop, laptop, iPad, etc).
how can i do this?

Another question: for "uplink speed" and "downlink speed", are they both for 1 device or the total bandwidth from all devices?

Thank you.

Link>Welcome!

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
  • What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have? Link> Speed Testing Sites

Is this router given to you by your ISP or is this a retail version?

I would check the user manual for QoS set up information and configuration.

Usually you can set up QoS automatically.
You can review this and see if this helps any:
