Title: 2630L network connectivity issues
Post by: tgm on June 02, 2018, 10:25:55 AM
hello,
my 2630 comes online with live video after power down & up or factory reset. Within few mins drops off the network (blinking green LED). When it comes online, it only connects to the 2G network of my wifi router. Using IP setting page, tried to change to 5G network, but would not save the changes. It is 2 years after purchase and no warranty. Wifi and camera are within 5 feet. Tried multiple power down/up cycles and factory reset cycles. Also tried to dig around with D-link company tech help over phone. No luck.

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router?
How many other wireless devices do you have connected to the main host router?

I recommend setting a static IP address ON the cameras outside of the main host routers default DHCP IP address pool as a troubleshooting step: 192.168.#.26  DHCP (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=58017.0)

Test cameras with uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding both enabled on ALL cameras: DCS Cloud (L) Series Camera Configuration and Mydlink.com (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=62395.0)
