Hi all. Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but I've got thoroughly lost trying to find DSL-502T discussion.
My question relates to overruns, found under Status > Statistics.
My modem is reporting 116,772 overruns out of 610,269,585 total bytes.
Is this normal / excessive / possibly fatal? I have no idea what the value should be, on average.

I recommend that you have your ISP check the cabling going to the ISP modem, check signal levels going to the ISP modem. For DSL or Fiber service lines, ensure that the ISP is using good working phone or cable lines to the DSL modem and that the phone lines are filtered correctly. I recommend having the ISP service physically check the lines going from the out side to the ISP modem. The router operation is dependent upon getting good data flow from the ISP modem and the modem is dependent upon getting good signal from the ISP Service.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Location is Australia.

Thanks for the advice, which I will look into.
But in general terms, is that many overruns considered normal, freakish, or mildly interesting?
Knowing this would help when approaching my ISP.

I don't have any experience or information regarding if this a bad thing, or normal for this product. I presume D-Link support will have more information regarding this. Let us know what you find out.
