Some people feel that recent FW updates don't seem to work well after they updated from probably non FW related problems. DLink makes it so there FW can't be downgraded to a previous build. Don't ask me why.

There are people out there that have reverse engineered the FW and made so users can downgrade back to a previous build. I talked to DLink about this and they say, user beware. Should a unit be returned to them and they find out it's got inappropriate FW loaded, it voids the warranty.  ::)

Firmware NA, that is made for America don't approach for use in Russia and to that to the similar countries. And as to stitch router initially made for Russia firmware NA it is possible and to receive a brick. Therefore I also have made downgrade, for those the clod does not accept firmware NA.

Users should also be aware of non-official firmware as you never know what might be included with it.

Not strange, just a general warning.

Furry- you can downgrade firmwares as long as they are in the same family 1.3X ->1.3x.  You just can't go from a 1.3x to a 1.2x without using a work around.

I concur with that as that is what build means. I should have been more specific. Thanks for setting me straight.  ;)
