Temporarily disable WPA on the NG router. Then try to connect the camera to the wifi. Does it work then?
Re-enable WPA2 and AES only and then test again.
You can log into the cameras web page while it's LAN connected and made changes here as well.

I have tried to remove WPA and leave the network open, nothing changed, I have rebooted and still the camera is not able to connect!!!
It is really a shame for Dlink to release a firmware that makes a product un-usable!!!

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.
Link> Tech Support Contact Information
We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Warranty expired, It will cost more of shipment than to buy a new Camera. DLink never again, you release firmware updates that will brick old equipment so to force to buy new products, as other people proved in this thread. The interesting thing is that my camera has never been switched on for a couple of years so you cannot even say it is worn out by usage, it is clearly something in the firmware.
I will buy from another brand, you will never get me again!

I updated to the same version of FW on my 933L and it's been working. Zero issues.

Good luck in your endeavours.

It worked for me too for some months, like from April last year, then suddenly, one day the WiFi stopped working. It didn't happen immediately. What is really strange is that as other people here have reported the wireless survey gets completed successfully showing that the electronic components are operational. Everything it is working as normal except that the camera does not connect to the Wi-Fi.
There is clearly a common pattern with the other case reported, a serious company would be a little more proactive and at least investigate without putting the burden on the users.
What I would like to hear is something like this :
"we would like to investigate this issue, we have arranged to collect your product free of costs, if we determine that the problem has been caused by one of the latest upgrades you will get either the product fixed or a replacement"

Since you can access the camera via Ethernet, have you tried downgrading the firmware to an older version?  Make sure you reset the camera after downgrading.

I assume you are removing the Ethernet cable after setup and rebooting?

If the problem continues, it is the camera - hardware issue with WIFi. If it works, then there is definitely something wrong with the firmware.

I have had this camera for several years. I also have other DLink cameras. All of them stopped working at the same time. No Power light. I took one and plugged it in by my router and connected it via Ethernet. It worked. I then upgraded the firmware for good measure. It still worked. I then took it off Ethernet and it cannot find an internet connection via WiFi. Red light. Please help!

Did anybody try anything that made the camera connect to wireless again? I am experiencing the same wireless connection issues a lot of people seem to be having.

Same here, camera worked OK for years, from one day to another stopped worked. Several power cycles did not work.
Removed the camera connected with ethernet cable, all working fine, wifi survey also works, but when removing the ethernet cable the camera just starts to boot cycle several times, reboot after reboot and no connection to wifi.
I tried other AP's without success.

This is a good way for D-Link forçe the users to update their cameras, but this time to other manufacturer...

I had the same problem ever after upgrading the firmware. I can connect and log in to console using hard wire, and set up the wifi there. however, as soon as I disconnect the ethernet cable, first the power light turns red from green, then it reboots with both status lights red top/blue bottom, and red light at top, then reboots again. it goes into a boot loop. only plugging in the cable could restore it.

i downgraded firmware from the latest 1.15 to 1.03 already. Anything before 2015 was remembered to work perfectly and one for many years without upgrade. Each time I reset the camera and try to set up the wifi. My router is a dlink DIR850L and I just leave the wifi n portion to default "dlink" ssid without any security (which is default on the camera too). However, on anything lower than 1.06, I noticed that as soon as I even engage the wifi by doing "site survey", the camera reboots. pressing the WPS button has the same effect. It's as if the control of wifi is engaged in any way, the camera reboots.

This all started after upgrading firmware to the 1.14 then 1.15. Reverting to earlier firmware didn't help. Is there any other solutions/resets possible? The camera was working so reliably that it didn't have one single reboot needed in over a year of continuous operation, using just wifi. This is really disheartening.

i can't believe this is not reversible, and that there is no solution this far. Yes I can still survey wifi with some later firmwares, so it should'nt be a hardware issue. However, what the new firmware borked apparently is irreversible? Is there any solution available from the admins other than robotic responses since everyone has similar symptoms across many cameras that points to firmware as the culprit? Dlink's software is never that great but to destroy their products is another matter all together.

If you can get the camera back to a stable version of FW and working on wireless. Factory reset and setup from scratch. Try to update the camera over wireless to the newer version FW WITHOUT connecting the ethernet cable to the camera. This this fails then just keep what works for you on the camera. This camera is EoL so no support or anything new in FW will not be forth coming. So consider finding a newer supported camera to re-place the 933L. There are newer cameras that have better resolution and fairly inexpensive now days.

I've not seen this problem with mine and mines on last version of FW. Solid and stable.

Good luck.
