You'll need to refer to Netgears web site and forums for help and information on the RE repeater. I presume it should be able to connect though.

Review any user manuals for the Netgear product.

Good Luck.

Repeater mode for netgear is easy to setup. My question is for Dir-615, what properties have to use to send/share wifi signal to Netgear MAC ADRESS or something like this.

If you have a SSID name and PW set up on the 615 for wireless, that's all that should be needed.

I have to install DD-WRT and make DIR615 to repeater base station mode and put IP and MAC adress on NETGEAR router

Then go to NETGEAR and put to repeater mode and put the DIR 615 MAC adress....

Oh so you want to use the 615 as a repeater?  ???

I just want to use my netgear to catch WIFI signal from DIR615
Netgear to be witch different ESSID (name) and when connect from laptop to netgear ESSID, he give me a strong signal and WOALA.
But default firmware on DIR 615 can't send WIFI signal to another router...so i have to install DD-WRT and configure again.

If I do that:
Is other users can connect to DIR615 normally and use internet as ususally ?

If you know other method tell me, because in default firmware in DIR615 i have this options:

NetBIOS announcement : uncheck
Learn NetBIOS from WAN : uncheck
NetBIOS Scope : D_Link (optional)
NetBIOS node type :
Broadcast only (use when no WINS servers configured) - this is check
 Point-to-Point (no broadcast)
 Mixed-mode (Broadcast then Point-to-Point)
 Hybrid (Point-to-Point then Broadcast)
Primary WINS IP Address : 0.0.0.0
Secondary WINS IP Address :    0.0.0.0
TFTP server :

So when using the 615 as the main AP using OEM FW the Netgear repeater can't connect to the 615?

You'll need to refer to the DD-WRT web site for support information on there FW since that's a 3rd party FW. OEM FW is only supported here.

Yes. Netgear repeater ask MAC adres to repeat a signal, he connected.
But DIR615 have to know to who MAC adress give internet, but in OEM FW this option didn't exist :D and netgear is connected but with No internet access. So solution maybe is DD-WRT Firmware...

There maybe a MAC address listed for the Wireless under Status on the 615 menu. Usually there is a MAC address for the WAN port and maybe one displayed for the wireless.
