Going back to stock firmware on D-Link Dir-300
« on: August 13, 2014, 10:37:05 AM »

Hey, I have DD-WRT and i tried going back to my original firmware, but i can't. On Firmware Upgrade in DD-WRT, it gives me Upgrade Failed, while using Emergency Room Web Interface, i can't seem to reach it. I followed the instructions, unplugged the router, pressed the reset button, plugged back while pressing, the power led started flashing, i modified my ip settings for 192.168.0.2, and while accessing http://192.168.0.1 with Firefox browser, i get Connection Reset error.

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

You'll need to refer to the DD-WRT web site for recovery support information.
