Shareport and EU firmware

Due to common misconceptions, I would like to clarify situation on compatible Shareport versions on EU firmware.

Routers DIR-635, DIR-655, DIR-685, DIR-825 and DIR-855 are compatible ONLY with older versions of Shareport, v.1.20 on Windows (2k-W8) and v. 1.11 on OSX (all versions).

Models DIR-645, DIR-657, DIR-845L, DIR-857 and DIR-865L are compatible with newer versions of Shareport, 4.10 on Windows and 4.30 on OSX.

We assume that this is for EU versions of routers right?

NA firmware on DIR-635, DIR-655, DIR-685, DIR-825 or DIR-855 may work with Shareport 3.x and 4.x. Reason for this difference between firmware versions is not known. Shareport v. 1.11 on OSX is quite buggy, so NA firmware owners are very lucky..
